Activity Details

Imagine seeing the amazing landscapes of Al-Ula from the air. Early in the morning, before sunrise, pickup will be arranged from your hotel for an unforgettable experience.

We will venture into the heart of the Saudi Arabian desert toward the takeoff point. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy coffee and dates while safety rules are explained before climbing into the baskets.

During this time, participants will witness the mesmerizing process of inflating the hot air balloon, observing how the colorful fabrics fill with hot air. Once preparations are complete, we will climb into the baskets and begin this exciting journey.

Before you know it, we will be floating at an altitude of over 1,200 m (3,937 ft). From this perfect vantage point, you will see the incredible formations that characterize the Al-Ula desert, including the Elephant Rock and the Jar Rock, two of Saudi Arabia's most spectacular natural wonders.

After an hour of ballooning over Al-Ula, the highlight will arrive: landing! Once we touch down, participants will exit the basket and transportation back to your hotel will be provided, concluding the experience three hours later.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This hot air balloon ride takes place early in the morning, with a pickup service from your hotel. After a safety briefing and enjoying coffee and dates, you'll witness the inflation of the balloon before ascending into the sky. The entire experience, including the balloon ride and hotel return, lasts about three hours.
