The adventure kicks off when we convene at the Alcocéber Tourist Office at the specified time, setting the stage for our excursion to Traiguera and Cervera del Maestre.

The first segment of our trip to Traiguera will last around 45 minutes. Once we arrive, we’ll tour an olive oil cellar, which boasts a remarkable collection of more than 100 ancient olive trees, including the famous Sinfo olive tree—one of the oldest olive trees in Europe.

Diving into the fascinating world of olive oil production and refinement, we will learn about the transformation of olives into liquid gold. We’ll cap off this educational experience with a delightful olive oil tasting, paired with exquisite local sausages.

After enjoying our tasting session, we will head to Cervera del Maestre to visit the Oil Interpretation Center. Here, we will find an interesting collection of tools essential to farmers involved in olive tree cultivation, covering all steps from extraction to packaging.

Next, we’ll embark on a guided tour of Cervera del Maestre, where the main sights await us. Get ready to appreciate iconic locations, such as the Church of the Assumption, the medieval marketplace ruins, and the exterior of the 12th-century castle.

Before concluding our excursion, we will return to Traiguera to visit the renowned Real Santuario Virgen Fuente de la Salud. This sanctuary was recognized as a Cultural Interest site in 2007, and we will learn more about this distinction as we explore its sacred spaces.

As our enriching five-hour journey draws to a close, we will return to Alcocéber, concluding this captivating experience.
