Activity Details

We will convene at the specified time outside the Amboise Tourist Office, where our adventure begins. A comfortable minibus will then transport us to the majestic Villesavin Palace, one of the prominent castles in the region!

Upon our arrival at the exquisite French Renaissance chateau, we will embark on an electric bike excursion that meanders through the lush surrounding forests. Approximately 45 minutes into our ride, we’ll reach Chambord, renowned as the most iconic chateau in the Loire Valley.

Is it possible that the illustrious Leonardo da Vinci played a role in its architectural design? A guided visit to Chambord Castle will reveal this and other fascinating stories. Recognized as a World Heritage Site, this monumental building was commissioned in the 1500s by King François I. We'll explore its principal halls and gain insights into its historical significance.

After our tour of Chambord, you will have one hour for lunch at the palace's restaurant or from one of the nearby food stalls. Once refreshed, we will remount our bikes and head back to Villesavin for another guided tour. This castle was brought to life by Jean le Breton, a minister under François I who oversaw the construction at Chambord. As a delightful pause, we’ll take some time under the 1900 linden tree for a snack.

In conclusion, we will return to the minibus and head back to our original meeting point, concluding this enriching experience after approximately 8 hours.
