Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel, followed by a brief drive to the Arenal Dam, referred to locally as "El Tapón" or "The Plug."

Upon arrival at Lake Arenal, recognized as the largest artificial lake in Central America, you'll embark on your kayaking tour. Once at the water's edge, you'll get into your kayak, ready to navigate the breathtaking scenery surrounding the lake. As you paddle, remain alert for local wildlife, including herons, kingfishers, cormorants, and anhingas.

This excursion will also provide insight into the captivating history of the Arenal Volcano, particularly the significant eruption of 1968, which profoundly affected the area.
