Montmajour Abbey Entry Ticket

Situated in the picturesque region of Provence, near Arles, the Abbey of St. Peter at Montmajour stands out as one of the most remarkable Benedictine monuments from the medieval era in southern France.

By obtaining your ticket to Montmajour Abbey, you will have the opportunity to navigate through its intriguing rooms, revealing the history of this historic monastery. Take time to wander through the breathtaking cloister of Montmajour, an exquisite representation of Provencal Romanesque architecture. Be sure to visit the impressive chapter house, adorned with a stunning barrel vault that marked an architectural advancement of its time.

Your ticket also comes with a brochure detailing some of the most captivating legends surrounding the abbey. Among these tales is the narrative of the True Cross, which suggests that the monks preserved a fragment of the original True Cross as a relic.
