Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Armenia

Begin your adventure in the heart of the Coffee Region! Upon landing at El Edén International Airport, our team will transfer you to your accommodation in Armenia, where you will stay for the first two nights. Prepare to step into the world of Café con Aroma de Mujer.

As the day unfolds, a unique experience awaits: our special themed welcome dinner, “Gaviota Night.” Set against the backdrop of the telenovela with rhythmic Andean music and vibrant yellow flowers, indulge in a sumptuous meal paired with the region's exquisite coffee and the local drink, aguardiente. This marks a delightful introduction to your journey.

After enjoying the evening, we will escort you back to your accommodation for a restful night.

Day 2: Immersion in Armenia

Start your day with breakfast followed by a visit to a local coffee farm. Here, stroll through lush coffee fields to discover the journey of coffee from bean to cup. Experience a symbolic coffee cherry harvest, embodying the role of Gaviota.

Next, delve into the production process, from pulping to artisan roasting. Can you sense the aromatic waves of freshly roasted coffee? After we pause for lunch, participate in a special coffee tasting to discern the rich flavors and delicate aromas.

If your group exceeds 15 participants, the day will culminate in a theatrical performance inspired by the beloved series; otherwise, enjoy free time to explore Armenia.

Day 3: Journey to Salento and Cocora Valley

Embark on a scenic 40-minute drive to Salento, famed for its colorful architecture. Stroll through the picturesque town, perfect for capturing memorable photos!

Then, adventure awaits in the Cocora Valley. Wander along trails adorned with breathtaking wax palms, Colombia's national tree, stretching skyward. As you learn about this unique cloud forest ecosystem, you’ll also have the chance to plant your own wax palm, aiding in the conservation of this stunning area.

At day's end, return to your accommodation in Salento for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Exploring Filandia

Post-breakfast, we’ll journey for another 40 minutes to Filandia, a gem of the Coffee Region. Known for its vibrant houses and artisan workshops, we’ll climb to a spectacular 27-meter viewpoint offering panoramic views of the Coffee Cultural Landscape.

Indulge your taste buds with a sampling of traditional desserts, such as arequipe with figs, complemented by local coffee. Later, we’ll arrive at your hotel in Filandia for the evening.

Day 5: Fun in Montenegro

Your fifth day is packed with excitement! After breakfast, visit the National Coffee Park, where culture, nature, and attractions intersect. Roam through themed trails, discover the interactive museum, and enjoy rides like the roller coaster and cable car with stunning views over coffee fields.

Enjoy lunch at the park, ensuring you’re energized for the day's activities. Don't miss the evening folklore show, a lively presentation of music and dance showcasing the lore of coffee and traditions from the region, reminiscent of Café con Aroma de Mujer.

Before departing, take some time to shop at the park’s store, then continue on to Montenegro for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Discovering Pijao and Córdoba

Today offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the region. After an hour’s drive, we’ll arrive at Pijao, often referred to as Colombia’s “Slow Town.” Stroll its peaceful streets, enjoy lunch, and learn about its history and commitment to sustainability.

Engage with local coffee growers, who will share their insights into coffee cultivation and invite you to sample their exquisite high-altitude coffee. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Córdoba, where the rural scenery evokes key moments from Gaviota and Sebastián’s story. Relish another coffee tasting amidst beautiful views.

The day will conclude with a return to your accommodations in Montenegro.

Day 7: Quimbaya and Relaxation

After breakfast, we’ll travel to Quimbaya for a visit to the renowned Casa del Árbol viewpoint. From this remarkable vantage point, soak in 360-degree views of the Coffee Region—an ideal photo opportunity!

Afterward, enjoy some leisure time. Choose between the rejuvenating hot springs in Santa Rosa de Cabal or visit PANACA, the National Agricultural Culture Park, for an interactive experience with farm animals and educational performances.

At the end of the day, we’ll take you to your accommodation in Quimbaya.

Day 8: Farewell to Armenia

The final day arrives as we bid farewell to the Coffee Region. Savor a special breakfast, and if your group consists of more than 15, participate in a farewell performance featuring local music.

By 11 am, you’ll check out, with time for last-minute shopping or to enjoy the morning before your transfer to El Edén International Airport in Armenia for your flight.

Flight Details

For those wishing to experience the themed dinner on the first day, it is essential that your flight arrives at Armenia Airport before 5 pm. Late arrivals will miss this special dinner.

On the final day, we’ll arrange your transportation to Armenia Airport according to your desired timing, ensuring drop-off at least 3 hours before your flight. Keep in mind that hotel check-out is at 11 am. Should you have a later flight, you are welcome to wait in the hotel lobby or explore Quimbaya, leaving your luggage with the hotel storage.
