Tour Overview

Your adventure will commence at Athens Central Station, where we'll gather at the designated time to embark on our journey to Meteora, with our ultimate destination being Kalambaka Station.

After approximately a four-hour journey, we will arrive at Kalambaka and then proceed towards the magnificent Meteora monasteries. A brief pause will allow you to enjoy lunch before we dive into an extensive exploration of the Meteora complex, dedicating about four hours to visit three of the monasteries.

This historical site is home to six monasteries in total: St. Nicholas, St. Stephen, Holy Trinity, Great Meteoron, Roussanou, and Varlaam. The specific monasteries included in the visit will depend on their operating hours and availability.

Before we return to Kalambaka, a visit to the Hermit Caves awaits, located between the impressive rock formations of Pyxari and Amparia. This serene stop serves as the perfect conclusion to our day. We will then retrace our steps back to the starting point, wrapping up this unforgettable 14-hour journey.

Ticket Choices

During the booking process, you can select from a couple of options that cater to your preferences:

• Tour with or without lunch: Opting for lunch allows you to choose from 10 traditional Greek main courses, accompanied by a salad, bread, and mineral water. Vegetarian and vegan selections are also accessible. If you prefer the tour without lunch, you will have the opportunity to explore dining alternatives on your own.
• Tour with a guide or audio guide: If you select the audio guide, you can take your time exploring the sites independently. Alternatively, with the guided option, a knowledgeable guide will accompany you throughout the entire experience.
