Details of the Activity

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Barreirinhas between 7:40 and 8:30 am. Once everyone has gathered, we'll board an all-terrain vehicle to journey towards the distinctive Lençóis Maranhenses region, an extraordinary ecological marvel.

After navigating the sandy trails, we will arrive at the National Park. Here, a hiking path will lead us through some of the most picturesque lagoons of the season. These natural freshwater pools, formed by rainwater accumulating between the dunes, present a breathtaking contrast of blue waters and white sands that is simply mesmerizing!

Continuing our trek, we will make our way to Atins Beach, where you can witness the remarkable confluence of the Preguiças River and the Atlantic Ocean. Here, you’ll have leisure time to enjoy a refreshing swim, snap enchanting photographs, and explore the stunning landscape of dunes and serene lagoons at your own pace.

If hunger strikes, we'll make a stop in the village of Atins, offering you the chance to enjoy lunch at one of the local eateries and taste the regional culinary delights. Revitalized, we will take a moment to relax before beginning our return journey.
