Rafting and Abseiling Adventure in the Anhumas Abyss

We will gather at the entrance of the Anhumas Abyss at the scheduled time, a spectacular natural wonder located in Bonito. Are you set to delve into its wonders?

Your journey begins with an abseil down into the underground cave. Utilizing a system of ropes complemented by an electric winch, you will descend a depth of 72 meters (236 feet) in approximately five minutes!

The Anhumas Abyss will leave you in awe from the very start, not only because of its vastness but also due to its crystal-clear waters, accompanied by countless stalactites and stalagmites. Some of these remarkable formations reach heights of over 20 meters (65 feet). Quite the sight, wouldn’t you agree?

To truly experience this unique location, we will hop onto a raft and explore the lake within this cavern. As we glide through the underground waters, we will share insights into the formation of the Anhumas Abyss over millions of years and recount how it was serendipitously discovered in 1970.

The rafting adventure concludes before we ascend back to the surface. After around two hours of exhilarating activity, we will wrap up our experience and bid farewell at our starting location.
