Tour Overview
At the designated time, we will gather at the selected meeting point you provided when making your reservation. The experience will kick off with an engaging video presentation that will provide insights into the geological and historical significance of the São Miguel Caves.
We will then transition into an adventure as we traverse a 656-ft (200-m) suspension bridge nestled among treetops, taking in breathtaking vistas of the vibrant Cerrado ecosystem. Following this exhilarating stroll, we will trek approximately 492 ft (150 m) along a path enveloped in pristine nature, leading us to a scenic viewpoint that showcases sweeping views of the surrounding area.
Our journey culminates with an entry into the São Miguel Caves, a dry subterranean environment where awe-inspiring geological structures await. Here, we will observe stalactites, stalagmites, travertine formations, limestone niches, and striking coral-like structures. Throughout the tour, detailed explanations will unfold the origins of these captivating formations, and if fortunate, we might even catch a glimpse of the renowned barn owl that resides in this habitat.
We will wrap up our tour outside the caves, bidding farewell after experiencing this extraordinary adventure in Bonito.
Tour Variants
During the reservation, you have the opportunity to select between two different formats based on your preferences. Both variants come with the essential safety gear required for the experience:
- Non-pickup tour (1 hour & 20 minutes): we will convene directly at the visitor center of the São Miguel Caves to commence the walking tour.
- Tour with pickup (4.5 hours): our team will collect you from your hotel and return you once the excursion concludes.

If you picked the tour with pickup, we'll swing by your hotel in Bonito to get you.
If you went with the tour without pickup, please head to the entrance of the São Miguel Caves at Rodovia Três Morros Km 0 Zona Rural, Bonito - MS, 79290-000, Brazil.
Either way, we recommend being ready 15 minutes early.
