Snorkelling Experience in the Formoso River

At the pre-arranged time, we will meet at the location previously selected during your booking. Following a brief introduction, we'll put on our wetsuits and head towards the Formoso riverbed, a prominent river flow in Bonito.

As we don our goggles and snorkel, our guide will accompany us throughout the journey as we embark on an exploration of the diverse aquatic ecosystems. We'll venture into various sections of the river to uncover the underwater marvels.

The pristine waters of the Formoso River will allow us to observe schools of various fish species, ranging from the common catfish found in Bonito to the more unusual tarpons, piavuçus, tetras, and gilthead bream. Stay alert for the stunning sights beneath the surface!

After an engaging hour and a half of exploration, we will conclude our activity and return to the starting point.

Timings

Upon confirming your booking, we will reach out to finalize the starting time for your activity, available between 9 am and 5 pm.

Activity Variants

While reserving, you have the option to select one of two formats based on your needs:

Tour Without Pickup (1.5 Hours)

You can meet us directly at the Praia da Figueira ecotourism complex to kick off your snorkelling adventure in the Formoso River.

Tour With Pickup (2.5 Hours)

We will pick you up from your hotel in Bonito and transport you to the initiation point for your water adventure. After the experience, you will be returned to your accommodation.
