Snorkeling Adventure in the Prata & Olho d'Água Rivers

We'll rendezvous at the designated meeting point on BR-267, where a tourist estancia is situated adjacent to the Prata River. Are you prepared to unveil the stunning underwater scenery of Bonito's waterways? Let’s embark on this adventure!

After equipping ourselves with wetsuits, we will venture into the riverside forest towards the source of the Olho d'Água River. Here, we’ll don our goggles and snorkels to explore the natural pool of this beautiful stream.

You will be mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters of the river, a characteristic clarity often found in Bonito’s waterways, resulting from the high limestone levels and how the sunlight reflects off this mineral. As we glide downstream, we'll share insights into the rich aquatic fauna and flora surrounding us.

The journey spans 1.7 kilometers (1 mile), guiding us to the confluence of the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers. Here, you'll witness an immediate change in water temperature, along with varying visibility and ecosystems.

After approximately four hours of exploration, we will conclude our adventure back at the starting point.

For those opting for this service, at the agreed time, we will collect you from your hotel in Bonito. Following the activity, we will return you to your accommodation.
