At the arranged time, our team will collect you from your Cartagena hotel and we will set off towards Barranquilla, an essential Colombian hub and the birthplace of Shakira. Commonly referred to as the "Golden Gate," this city holds numerous secrets waiting to be uncovered during your visit.

As we travel, you will be greeted by stunning vistas of the iconic Sombrero Volteado, a representative symbol of Caribbean heritage. After approximately two hours, we will reach our destination to embark on a scenic exploration of Barranquilla.

Our initial stop will be at Plaza del Puerto de Colombia, where history and art converge. From this point, we will continue to the Puerto Colombia Lighthouse and the enchanting Ventana de los Sueños (Window of Dreams), an area that beautifully merges striking scenery with local culture.

We will then proceed to Salgar Castle, an ancient fortress offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Following this, we will visit Laguna de los Cisnes (Swan Lake) and the serene Ciénaga de Mallorquín, where the peace of Colombia’s natural beauty will envelop you.

During our travels, we will make a stop to capture memories at the well-known Barranquilla letters—a vibrant backdrop perfect for photos. Next, we will glide down Vía 40, a lively avenue that's alive during the second-largest carnival in the world, filled with excitement and energy!

A leisurely walk along the Malecón del Río Magdalena awaits, where the fusion of modernity and tradition can be experienced. Here, we will encounter monuments dedicated to Shakira, the local football team, and Joe Arroyo, all of whom reflect Barranquilla's lively spirit. Additionally, we will explore Barrio Abajo, the heart of Barranquilla's music and folklore.

Your adventure continues as we visit the Casa del Carnaval, where we will delve into the city's vibrant traditions. The fascinating history here is truly remarkable! We will next explore Romelio Martínez Castle and La Troja, a must-see for salsa enthusiasts, renowned for its rhythmic atmosphere.

Ready for a delicious break? Join us for lunch featuring typical Currambera cuisine in either Barrio Abajo or the upscale Barrio El Prado, subject to availability, tantalizing your taste buds with local flavors.

After refreshing ourselves, we will visit the impressive Metropolitan Cathedral and wander through Barrio El Prado, a district rich in colonial architecture that invites you to step back in time. To wrap up our tour, we will relish a stunning sunset from the rooftop of Centro Comercial Muelle 1888, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

Finally, we will conclude our journey back to Cartagena, bidding farewell after an unforgettable 11.5 hours.
