Activity Overview

We'll gather at the designated cooking studio within the Getsemaní neighborhood at the scheduled time. Upon arrival, you’ll find an inviting setup complete with all necessary utensils, fresh ingredients, and a vibrant atmosphere to dive into the creation of a genuine three-course Colombian meal. To kick off the experience, a refreshing drink made with panela will be provided.

Guided by the chef, you’ll embark on an engaging journey as you prepare each dish while acquiring knowledge of time-honored techniques and culinary secrets intrinsic to the region. After all the dishes are ready, it will be time to savor your culinary creations, paired with a glass of wine, beer, or lemonade.

After a fulfilling 3-hour session, we’ll bid farewell, and you will receive the recipes for you to replicate the dishes in your own kitchen.

Menu Highlights

The menu is set from Monday to Saturday at 10:30 am:

• Starter: mote de queso (cheese and yam soup)
• Main Course: posta cartagenera (Cartagena-style beef) served with coconut rice, sweet plantain, and avocado chili
• Dessert: tamarillo in syrup

From Tuesday to Saturday at 5 pm, the menu features:

• Starter: carimañolas (yucca fritters)
• Main Course: pargo encocado (snapper in coconut sauce) accompanied by coconut rice and patacones (fried green plantains)
• Dessert: enyucado (yucca cake)
