Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or a predetermined meeting point at the appointed time. We will set off by driving along the stunning coastline of Cartagena de Indias, providing breathtaking views of the bay and its volcanic sand beaches.

Our first stop will be in the Bocagrande and Castillogrande areas, home to the city's most upscale neighborhoods. After traversing past the La Bodeguita pier, we’ll proceed toward the Clock Tower, an iconic structure from the colonial era that served as the main entrance to the fortified old town of Cartagena. We will also pass the Convention Centre and explore the Getsemaní district.

Next, we will ascend to the Santa Cruz de La Popa convent, perched at the city’s highest point. Here, you will be treated to remarkable vistas of Cartagena, along with insights into the strategic significance of the port in historical contexts.

Afterward, our itinerary includes a visit to the fortification of San Felipe de Barajas, the most significant defensive structure in the region. Close by, we’ll take a moment to appreciate the statue of Blas de Lezo, the Spanish admiral renowned for his courageous defense of the city against British forces.

We'll then navigate through the picturesque plazas and cobbled streets of Cartagena, unraveling its rich history. Along the way, admire the elegant colonial architecture, and take a short break at Las Bóvedas, where you can enjoy approximately 20 minutes of leisure time to browse the craft and antique shops housed in this former military storeroom, including a jewelry factory.

Following this, we will continue our exploration with a wander through the historic center, passing by Baluarte de Santo Domingo and crossing the Calle de los Estribos, as well as the squares of Santo Domingo, Bolivar, and San Pedro Clavel.

The tour will lead us onward to the Plaza de la Aduana and then to the Plaza de los Coches, where we can once again admire the Clock Tower.

In conclusion, after around 4 hours of fascinating exploration, we’ll wrap up our tour in the historic heart of Cartagena de Indias.

Hotel pickup:

• North zone: hotel pickup from 8:15 am to 8:25 am (subject to availability) and from 1:15 pm to 1:25 pm
• Marbella and Cabrero: hotel pickup at 1:30 pm
• Bocagrande and Laguito: hotel pickup from 8:40 am to 8:50 am (depending on availability) and from 2 pm to 2:20 pm
• Castillogrande: hotel pickup from 2 pm to 2:20 pm
