Cartagena Kayaking Experience

At your convenience, we will gather at the dock adjacent to the Punta Madero building to kick off this kayaking adventure in Cartagena de Indias. A perfect way to discover a different dimension of this historic locale!

Once we are equipped with our kayaks, we will embark on a 2.5-mile (4km) aquatic journey. If you are new to kayaking, there’s no need for concern, as we will provide you with essential guidance to help you paddle effectively.

Our route takes us through the waters of Las Animas Bay and alongside Pegasos Pier, where a stunning view of the Cartagena Clock Tower awaits.

We will then proceed past the Camellón de los Mártires, the Convention Centre, and the Román Bridge. Here, you can marvel at the San Lazaro Lagoon and its vibrant mangrove ecosystem, creating a picturesque backdrop as it gracefully meets the sea.

Continuing on, we will kayak toward the Island of Birds, an enchanting location where the melodies of numerous birds can be heard, enriching the ambience.

After approximately one hour and a half of paddling and discovery, we will return to our initial meeting point.
