If you are eager to explore the vibrant avifauna of Colombia, the visit to the National Aviary of Colombia is an experience you won't want to miss. This adventure also includes a remarkable afternoons at Playa Blanca, a pristine beach that feels like a slice of paradise!

National Aviary of Colombia and Beach Experience

Our journey begins at 8 am, as we gather at your accommodation in Cartagena. From there, we will board a shuttle heading towards the National Aviary of Colombia.

Upon our arrival, you will immerse yourself in the captivating world of birds in their natural habitats and receive insights into various species.

During the aviary exploration, a knowledgeable guide will share fascinating information about the rich variety of birds soaring through Colombian skies and highlight the significance of protecting forests, beaches, and jungles to ensure these vibrant beings thrive.

After observing toucans, flamingos, and numerous other species, we will take a minibus back to Playa Blanca. Once we reach this idyllic location featuring soft sand and crystal-clear waters, a traditional Colombian meal will be served.

Following lunch, you will have an hour to stroll along the stunning white sand beach, bask in the sun, or unwind in the shade of cabanas by the shoreline. After rejuvenating in this picturesque setting, we will head back to Cartagena de Indias, with arrival at the drop-off point around 3 pm.

Hotel Pickup Details

This experience includes pickup from accommodations situated in the Bocagrande and Laguito neighborhoods. If your lodging is outside these areas, please proceed to Muelle de Los Pegasos in the historic core of Cartagena de Indias to join the tour.
