Tierra Bomba Kayak Tour
Description
Experience the beauty of nature on this kayak tour to Tierra Bomba, an idyllic island situated off the coast of Cartagena de Indias. Are you prepared to start paddling?
Tierra Bomba Kayak Tour
Our adventure begins at 7 am on Castillo Grande beach, where you'll receive a comprehensive safety briefing.
We then set off on an exciting kayak expedition across the Colombian Caribbean, covering a distance of 28 kilometers (17 miles) over approximately 5 to 6 hours. Rest assured, we’ll make several enjoyable stops throughout the journey!
Initially, we will navigate away from Cartagena de Indias toward the stunning Tierra Bomba island. Upon reaching this beautiful spot, we'll pause for 40 minutes at Las Monjas beach, allowing you time to unwind.
Once refreshed, our journey continues as we paddle along Tierra Bomba's coastline heading toward Bocachica. Here, at the southern edge of the island, we will spend an hour and a half exploring the Fort San Fernando, a historical site constructed by the Spaniards in the 17th century.
After our visit to the fort, we will return to our kayaks and glide toward the island's northern coast, where we'll find the charming town of Punta Arenas. Here, you can savor a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, with options including grilled fish or chicken based on your preference.
Following our meal, we will take a moment to unwind in Punta Arenas before beginning our return journey to the starting point, with an estimated arrival time between 4 pm and 4:30 pm.
