At the scheduled departure time, our journey will begin from Combarro Marina. Are you prepared for this exciting experience?
After a brief 15-minute boat ride, during which we will gather insights about the distinctive characteristics of our location, we will arrive at Tambo Pier. Welcome to one of the prominent islands in the Ria de Pontevedra! This pristine natural area is currently unpopulated, contributing to the preservation of its remarkable ecological heritage.
Upon disembarking at the pier, you will embark on a walking exploration of Tambo Island. Throughout this 3-hour excursion, be captivated by the breathtaking panoramas from Area da Illa Beach and A Dreidá Beach, where the delicate white sands meet the rich azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
As we continue our exploration of Tambo, we will stop by significant attractions on the island, including the San Miguel Hermitage, the Tenlo Lighthouse, and the remnants of an old lazaretto. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Pedra da Parabé, one of the most renowned stones in Tambo, and discover the story behind its fame!
To wrap up our adventure, we will board the boat at Tambo Pier and make our way back to Cambarro Marina, concluding this activity by 2 pm.
Guided Exploration of Tambo Island
From May 1 to September 1, the ferry ticket includes a guided exploration of Tambo Island. Please note that this tour is not offered during the Easter period, specifically from the Friday prior to Easter up until Easter Sunday.

Important information
30 minutes before the boat departure, please go to Combarro Marina, specifically the Naviera Mar de Ons locker, located on Francisco Regalado Avenue n/a. Please be punctual.
The departure from the port in Tambo Island to take the ferry back to Combarro will be at 2 pm.
Necessary Documentation
Tambo Island is a protected area with a daily visitor quota. To visit Tambo Island, you'll need authorization from the Xunta de Galicia, which will be processed by the local provider. You won't need to worry about this, as the guide will have the authorization.
Ticket Conditions
Tickets can only be issued up to 30 minutes before the boat departs and at the corresponding departure port for your trip.
The ticket is invalid outside the date and time specified on it. If the ticket is lost or misplaced, you'll need to purchase a new one.
You must be at the dock with your boarding ticket and the authorization attached to disembark at Tambo Island.
The local team is authorized to modify the announced schedules and even suspend or cancel the trip for internal, technical-logistical, or organizational reasons, as well as due to weather conditions or force majeure. Additionally, it may make any intermediate stops.
