This comprehensive tour of Córdoba's historic center allows you to explore some of the city’s most celebrated landmarks. With an expert English-speaking guide, visit the Jewish Quarter, the Alcázar, and the Mosque-Cathedral.

Tour Overview

The guided experience starts with the iconic Córdoba Mosque-Cathedral, recognized as the crown jewel of the city and comparable in significance to the Alhambra in Granada. During our visit to its interior, you'll uncover its fascinating history, reinforcing its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984.

We will then stroll through the cobblestone paths of the Jewish Quarter, an area rich in history that served as the center for the Jewish community from the 10th to the 15th centuries. As we walk, we will stop by the Souk, the local market, to catch a glimpse of daily life.

The tour culminates with a visit to the remarkable Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, a fortress-palace dating back to the 14th century, which was the residence of Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon. While exploring its rooms and beautiful gardens, you will learn about the renowned historical events that occurred within these walls.

Temporary Closures

Please note that due to ongoing structural renovations, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos is currently closed until further notice. As an alternative, we will visit the Caliphal Baths. Depending on availability, we might also explore the Royal Stables or a charming Andalusian courtyard. This modification will result in a tour that is 30 minutes shorter.

Itinerary Changes

Be aware that the sequence of visits may vary due to logistical considerations.
