Once you arrive at Medina Azahara, plug in your headphones and let the history unfold. The narration is offered in Spanish, English, Italian, German, and French, allowing you the flexibility to pause whenever desired to capture photos or enjoy the environment.

During the reservation process, you can select from the following two options:
Audio Guide Only
This choice is perfect if you wish to make your own way to the archaeological site. You will gain complete access to all historical narratives on your smartphone, allowing you to explore at your leisure.

Audio Guide + Transportation from Córdoba
If you prefer utmost convenience, this option includes bus transportation to and from the center of Córdoba. We will convene at Paseo de la Victoria, directly in front of the Hotel Eurostars Córdoba Palace, before embarking on your journey to the former Palatine city. After approximately two hours of exploration with the audio guide, the bus will return you to the starting location.
This option is offered at 10 am and 10:45 am.

- Remember to bring your own headphones
- Ensure your phone has sufficient battery life for the duration of the tour
- Take note that entrance to the archaeological site is not included, nor is the shuttle bus fare connecting the museum with the archaeological site

Audio Guide With Transport from Córdoba
If you have chosen the option with transportation, please note the following:
If you have booked the option with transfers, the meeting point is the city bus stop located in front of the Eurostars Córdoba Palace Hotel (Glorieta de la Cruz Roja, Paseo de la Victoria, S/N). The times are as follows:
- Departure at 10 am. Return at 1:30 pm
- Departure at 10:45 am. Return at 2:15 pm
You must arrive 10 minutes early and present the bus ticket that we will send you after confirming your booking. Without this document, either printed or on your mobile phone, you will not be allowed to board the vehicle.
Visit Info
Once at the archaeological site, you must go to the Medina Azahara Visitor Center to:
- Collect your ticket to the site
- Visit the Museum
- Watch the 18-minute video about the history of the palatial city
After these steps, you must go to the shuttle bus that connects the museum with the archaeological site and pay the corresponding fare (not included).
Important: remember to bring your own headphones and a phone with enough battery to enjoy the audio guide throughout the tour.
