Day Trip to Baños de Agua Santa & Río Verde

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Riobamba at 8 am, followed by a journey toward Baños de Agua Santa, a picturesque location known as the entrance to the Amazon.

On our route, we’ll pause at the renowned Tree House and the Swing at the End of the World, perched alongside the Tungurahua Volcano. This spot offers fantastic opportunities for photography in one of the most photographed locations in Ecuador.

Continuing, we’ll stop at the Fantasies of Flying swing, towering around 200 feet (60 metres) above the ground. As you take flight on this swing, you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of Baños de Agua Santa.

Next, we’ll visit a charming local bakery to savor the flavors unique to the region, before proceeding to the stunning El Agoyán waterfall and Manto de la Novia. Upon our arrival, we’ll take a thrilling ride on a cable car, or tarabita, traversing a short distance above the Pastaza River.

Our journey will then lead us to Río Verde for an excursion to the impressive Pailón del Diablo. This Andean waterfall, reaching a height of 262 feet (80 metres), boasts staircases sculpted into the rock, which we will descend together.

Feeling hungry? A delightful traditional lunch awaits before we return to Riobamba, where drop-off at your hotel is scheduled for 4 pm.
