Kayak Adventure in Beagle Channel

Your journey begins at 10 am when we will collect you from your accommodation in Puerto Williams and transport you to a campsite just outside the city.

Upon arrival, we will review essential safety protocols for the kayaking experience and prepare our wetsuits, waterproof gear, protective skirts, and other necessary equipment. Then it's time to step into our kayaks!

As we paddle through the cool waters of the Beagle Channel, which connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the initial phase will take place in a calmer section, allowing you to become familiar with kayaking techniques. After gaining confidence, we’ll venture out further from Puerto Williams to appreciate the spectacular coastline along with the vistas of Navarino Island.

During our excursion, we will encounter native bird species that thrive in this remote southern region of South America. Additionally, we’ll delve into the rich history of the Yaganes, an Indigenous Fuegian group with a heritage spanning hundreds of years.

The adventure concludes as we make our way back to the campsite. Once there, enjoy a snack featuring local delicacies and a craft beer. Finally, we will transport you back to your hotel in Puerto Williams, arriving around 2 pm.
