Tour Details

We will convene at 3:30 pm at O'Higgins, 187 to commence our walking exploration of Puerto Williams.

During this guided experience, we will explore key locations within Puerto Williams, situated on the picturesque Navarino Island in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Several stops will be made to appreciate the breathtaking views of the Beagle Channel, a narrow waterway that acts as a natural border with Argentina, linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Our journey through Puerto Williams will culminate near the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or in proximity to the Micalvi Yacht Club. Following this, we will venture further into the island to uncover additional treasures.

Along the way, we will encounter remnants related to the Beagle conflict, a historical dispute over these southern territories between Chile and Argentina. Additionally, we will gain insights into the Yaghan community, recognized as one of the most southern Indigenous groups globally.

Our next stop will be at Los Bronces Bridge, from where we will proceed to the eponymous waterfall. Here, we can revel in the picturesque surroundings before retracing our steps back to the bridge and returning to our original gathering point in Puerto Williams. Our adventure will conclude at 7:30 pm with an aperitif featuring local delicacies and a refreshing craft beer.
