At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Cabo de Gata salt flats to begin this guided walking tour. Prepare to explore this unique corner of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park!
We will walk for approximately 1.24 m (2 km) while sharing the secrets of this wetland, which was declared a Ramsar site in 1990. Keep your eyes peeled for the rich variety of flora and fauna, which may include flamingos and unique bird species that will enhance your appreciation of the scenery.
Throughout the tour, we will discuss intriguing facts about this natural site, including the salt extraction methods and the salt mining process that involve water from the Mediterranean Sea.
Moreover, to enrich your experience, we will make several stops to appreciate the volcanic and saline landscape. Be prepared to capture stunning photographs!
After approximately 1 hour, we will return to the starting point to conclude this tour of the Cabo de Gata salt flats.

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the designated time at the access gate to the Cabo de Gata Salt Flats (QQ2J+3V6, Almería, Spain). To access this site, you'll need to pass the Church of the Salinas and the salt-producing town, where you'll find the meeting point on the left if you're coming from Cabo de Gata.
