Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in La Ceiba, shortly before we head to the stunning Cacao Lagoon, just a 40-minute drive away.
This picturesque location is surrounded by verdant cocoa trees and sugar cane, with a remarkable feature of the lagoon being its connection to the sea! Upon our arrival at the coastline, an experienced instructor will guide you through a thorough introduction on kayaking skills using a wooden kayak, paving the way for our exciting exploration.
Over the next 2.5 hours, we will glide across the serene waters of this stunning lagoon, situated within the Nombre de Dios Natural Park. Be on the lookout for up to eight varieties of mangroves, as well as the playful olingos monkeys as they navigate the foliage. If fortune favors us, we may also catch sight of white-faced monkeys, kingfishers, or herons in their natural surroundings!
Following our kayaking experience, we will return to the shore and begin our journey back to La Ceiba. You can expect to arrive at your hotel approximately 5.5 to 6 hours after the initial pickup.

At the selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Ceiba. We recommend being at the meeting point 10 minutes in advance.
We recommend bringing river flip-flops, shorts, a summer t-shirt, a raincoat, a backpack, a plastic bag, a water bottle, insect repellent, a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
