At the chosen time, your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Ascea. A comfortable bus will transport you to one of southern Italy's most remarkable Baroque monumental sites. Get ready to explore the stunning Certosa di Padula!

The magnificence of this monastery, known formally as Certosa di San Lorenzo, will captivate you upon arrival. This complex is only surpassed in size by the Grande Chartreuse in Grenoble, France!

After taking in the Baroque façade, we will venture inside the religious site to delve into its various areas. Here, we will explore the church and chapels associated with the Carthusian order, and we will also visit the Capitolio room, the library featuring a unique Vietrese ceramic tiled floor, and the refectory, a space alive with the spirit of the Carthusian monks.

Additionally, we will be impressed by the Great Cloister of the Padula Charterhouse, which spans an incredible 15,000 square meters, making it the largest cloister in the world!

After completing our visit, we will make our way back to Ascea, returning you to your hotel, thus concluding this enriching four-hour journey.
