Trip Overview

At the appointed time, we will meet in front of the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel to embark on our journey to Ghibli Park. Get ready to immerse yourself in this extraordinary area inspired by the animated world of Studio Ghibli!

After a scenic 45-minute bus ride, we will arrive at Ghibli Park, situated on the ground of the Expo 2005. This thematic park brings to life the universe of Studio Ghibli, allowing visitors to engage in the enchanting realities depicted in beloved films such as My Neighbour Totoro and Princess Mononoke.

Your experience includes the Ghibli Park O-Snapo Day Pass Standard, granting access to the three main sections of the park: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Mononoke Village, and the Valley of Witches.

During the day, you will have the opportunity to explore Ghibli Park at a leisurely pace, capture images with the themed installations in each area, and savor a mouthwatering bento-style meal inspired by the films. The menu will cater to various diets, including vegetarian options (which may feature dashi, a traditional Japanese broth, and eggs), along with a drink.

Following lunch, we will proceed with one of the additional visits outlined below, before making our way back to the starting location, concluding after approximately 8 to 8.5 hours.

Supplementary Visits

After enjoying your lunch, your tour will continue with an additional stop, which will differ based on the day:

• Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: we will explore the Aichi Museum of Flight. This aviation-focused venue houses fascinating exhibits, including the YS-11 aircraft, which inspired the main character of the acclaimed film The Wind Rises.
• Wednesdays: you will have the opportunity to visit the Toyota Automobile Museum. Featuring around 150 vehicles, this museum offers an incredible journey through the history of automobiles across the globe, from their inception to the present day.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays: we will tour the Seto-Gura Museum, where you can delve into the historical realm of Seto ware. This experience highlights Japan's pottery tradition through a re-creation of a mid-20th-century pottery village and a diverse collection of ceramic artifacts, spanning ancient to contemporary times.

Itinerary Adjustments from June 2026

Be advised of the following changes coming into effect starting June 2026:

• Seto-Gura Museum: Visits will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
• Toyota Automobile Museum: Visits will happen on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Aichi Museum of Flight: This location will be closed for renovations.

Essential Information

• Your tour assistant will provide the admission ticket to Ghibli Park on the same day. Please be aware that entry to Ghibli Park cannot be gained solely with this voucher.
• Bookings will be forfeited for guests arriving late at the designated departure time. Therefore, it is crucial to arrive beforehand.
• Ghibli's Grand Warehouse has specific entry hours, operating from 10 to 11 am.
• Remember to bring this voucher along with your passport on the day of your visit.
• Same-day tickets are mandatory for access to the Okino Residence, Howl's Castle, and the House of Witches, and can be purchased in the Valley of Witches section. Availability is limited, and sales will cease once tickets are sold out. Access to the Hill of Youth and Dondoko Forest is not included.
• The tour may be cancelled if Ghibli Park is closed due to adverse weather conditions (such as typhoons) or other unforeseen circumstances.
• If tourist facilities are closed, alternative destinations will be offered for the tour.
• Departure and arrival times, as well as the duration of activities mentioned in the itinerary, are approximate. The sequence of events and expected arrival times may change depending on traffic and road conditions.
