We will convene beside Cartagena's Clock Tower. Once gathered, a minibus will whisk us away to Turbaco, located roughly an hour's drive from the city.

Upon our arrival, a guided tour of Turbaco's historical center awaits, offering a glimpse into the local culture. Next, we will visit the Yurbaco Museum, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history of the town's 16th-century founders. This is truly a captivating epoch!

Following this, we will make our way to the mud baths, where you are invited to indulge in a rejuvenating soak for two hours. Known for their restorative qualities, this experience will be further enhanced with a delightful lunch at a nearby local eatery.

After a full day of exploration, we will return to Cartagena in the evening.

Excursion to Turbaco + Botanical Gardens

At the scheduled time, our meeting point will be the Clock Tower in Cartagena, setting the stage for our journey to Turbaco.

After arriving, you will enjoy a two-hour exploration of the town, taking in its main streets, churches, and a stop at the Yurbaco Museum, where the cultural richness of the area is preserved.

Our next destination will be the Guillermo Piñeres Botanical Garden, located on the outskirts of Turbaco. Here, we will wander through this vibrant nature reserve and discover the variety of plant species native to the Colombian Caribbean, boasting over 300 different types.

During our visit to the botanical garden, expect to spend around two hours immersed in its tranquil environment, observing a stunning natural forest, winding paths, flowing fountains, as well as various wildlife such as birds, squirrels, iguanas, and lively monkeys.

The final stop on our trip will be at a local restaurant, where we will savor a traditional meal paired with a drink, a perfect conclusion to the day!

Excursion to Turbaco + Paintball Activity

If adventure is what you seek, this option is tailored for you! After rendezvousing at the Clock Tower, our adventure begins as we depart from Cartagena to Turbaco.

Upon arrival, we will visit Turbaco's historical center before continuing our journey to the museum, providing a comprehensive insight into the cultural legacy of the region.

Then, get ready for some excitement at a paintball arena, where we will engage in an exhilarating two-hour match. Test your tactical skills! Following this adrenaline-pumping experience, we’ll refuel with a hearty lunch featuring regional delicacies.

Finally, after a fulfilling day, we will make our way back to Cartagena to conclude our adventure.

Excursion to Turbaco + Bollo de Mazorca Workshop

Our trip to Turbaco begins after gathering at the Clock Tower in Cartagena.

Initially, we will take an hour to visit the historical center, followed by a trip to the Museum of Turbaco to gain insight into the local culture.

Next, we will proceed to the property known as La Maquinaria, where a workshop awaits focusing on the craft of traditional bollo de mazorca (cornbread bun) preparation. This delightful dish is created with fresh corn, flour, cheese, and butter, wrapped in mazorca leaves—a culinary delight you won’t want to miss!

To top off this experience, we will enjoy a typical meal at the estate, and after a total of eight hours, we will return you to our starting point.
