Elephant Conservation Center Day Trip
Description
Embark on a remarkable day trip to an elephant conservation center in Chiang Mai, a must-experience adventure in Thailand!
Description
Your day will begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Chiang Mai between 7 and 8 am, followed by a stop for breakfast. After approximately a 1.5-hour journey, we will reach the Elephant Conservation Center.
Upon arrival, the center's staff will share insights about their ongoing conservation efforts, aimed at enhancing the lives of these gentle giants. You'll have the opportunity to feed the elephants cucumbers, and there's no need to fret as they are accustomed to human interaction!
Following the feeding session, we'll stroll 1.5 miles (2.5 km) alongside the elephants towards a river, where we will witness the elephants enjoying their baths. A vehicle will be on standby by the riverbank to transport us to a nearby waterfall, where we can refresh ourselves in its inviting waters.
After our swim, we will visit a nearby local restaurant to enjoy a tasty lunch. The typical menu includes a meat option, papaya salad, fried rice, and assorted vegetables, with vegan or vegetarian alternatives available upon request.
As the day comes to an end, we will bring you back to your hotel in Chiang Mai, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.
