Galapagos Islands 5-day Luxury Cruise
Description
Embark on an extraordinary journey through a natural wonderland during this luxury yacht expedition in the enchanting Galapagos Islands. Over the course of 5 days, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique wildlife and lush landscapes of this remarkable archipelago.
5-Day Luxury Cruise through the Galapagos Islands
Day 1: San Cristóbal Island
Upon arriving at the San Cristóbal Airport, a minibus will transport you directly to the yacht, where your adventure begins.
After a delectable lunch served on board, we will kick off our exploration by visiting the Cerro Colorado turtle breeding and conservatory center. This site showcases various native plant species and offers a chance to see diverse birdlife alongside many endemic creatures.
As the day concludes, enjoy dinner on the boat and prepare for a restful night in anticipation of the adventures ahead.
Day 2: Española Island
Our voyage continues as we set sail towards Española Island, renowned as one of the smallest in the Galapagos archipelago and affectionately referred to as Hood Island in tribute to British Admiral Samuel Hood.
Here, we will explore Gardner Bay, a lively habitat for sea lions and sharks. You'll have ample opportunity to bask on the pristine beaches or take a dip in the clear waters for a refreshing swim or snorkel experience.
In the afternoon, we will navigate to Punta Suarez, a dramatic section of Española Island that hosts several seabird colonies. Its towering cliffs provide breathtaking views and the perfect vantage point to observe these fascinating birds as they dive for fish.
The day will wrap up with our return to the cruise ship for dinner and a peaceful night’s slumber.
Day 3: Floreana Island
Onward we sail to Punta Cormorant on Floreana Island, a stunning site marked by its ancient volcanic cones, palo santo forests, and vibrantly colored beaches. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy spotting frequent visitors such as sea lions and Galapagos penguins.
Following our onboard lunch, we will visit a historic mail barrel established in the 18th century and ascend to the Baroness viewpoint. This location not only offers stunning vistas but also invites reflection on the storied past of the so-called Empress of the Galapagos.
As we cruise through the night, indulge in a delightful dinner prepared on the yacht.
Day 4: Santiago Island
With breakfast to fuel our energy, we will venture towards Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island. This pristine area is celebrated for its untouched beauty and rich biodiversity, featuring blue herons, crabs, and iguanas as our wildlife companions.
In the afternoon, post-lunch, we will journey towards the volcanic Bartolomé Islet, one of the youngest formations in the Galapagos. For breathtaking panoramic views, we recommend a climb to the Pinnacle Bay viewpoint, rising 114 meters above sea level.
After another fulfilling day, dinner will be served on the yacht, followed by a restful night.
Day 5: Santa Cruz Island - Baltra Island
As our memorable luxury yacht experience draws to a close, we will head to Santa Cruz Island, specifically to Tortuga Negra Cove. Here, you will navigate through the gorgeous emerald lagoon aboard a zodiac, offering opportunities to witness the local shark colonies.
After soaking in the stunning surroundings, we'll return to the cruise ship for our final sail to Baltra Island. Upon arriving on land, we will assist you in reaching the airport for your departure flight home.
