Golden Circle Tour for Cruise Ships
Description
Discover the natural wonders of the Golden Circle with a tour designed specifically for cruise passengers docking in Reykjavik, featuring Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geysers, and Thingvellir National Park.
Itinerary
We will be waiting for you at the Reykjavik cruise port, where we will board a bus to head towards the Golden Circle, one of Iceland's most popular routes.
After approximately 45 minutes of travel, we will arrive at Thingvellir National Park. Once there, you will have 45 minutes of free time to explore the area and stroll through the landscape characterized by crystal-clear waters surrounded by moss and wildflowers. Did you know that you can see the crack between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates? Truly impressive!
Next, we will continue our tour at Geysir, renowned for being the birthplace of geysers, where this remarkable natural phenomenon was first observed.
To enjoy the water eruptions to the fullest, we will give you approximately an hour and a half of free time. During this time, you can dine at any of the cafeterias in the visitor center and, of course, marvel at the Strokkur Geyser.
Our next stop will be Gullfoss, known as the waterfall of gold. Upon arrival, you will have about 45 minutes to be captivated by its impressive 32-meter drop of glacial water. It will leave you speechless!
After a seven-hour journey, we will return to the Reykjavik port in plenty of time for you to board your cruise comfortably.
