4-Day Guatemala Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guatemala City

Your adventure begins as we greet you at the airport in Guatemala City. You will then be escorted to your hotel, where you will be accommodated for the subsequent three nights. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have the opportunity to wander through the city at your leisure or simply unwind.

Day 2: Discovering Antigua Guatemala and Chichicastenango

We are ready to embark on your exploration! After picking you up from the hotel, we will travel to Antigua Guatemala, roughly a 50-minute journey that leads to a city enveloped by majestic volcanoes and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Your visit will include the central park and the main square of Antigua, along with the San José Cathedral, the La Merced Church, and several other historic landmarks. Be sure to capture a moment at the Santa Catalina arch, a true emblem of the city. Are you curious about the history of the cloistered nuns and their connection to this passageway? After completing our tour, you can enjoy lunch at your convenience before we return to Chichicastenango, ensuring you are ready for tomorrow’s adventures.

Day 3: Chichicastenango & Lake Atitlán Exploration

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Chichicastenango to reveal the town's hidden treasures. This location is famous for hosting one of the most well-preserved indigenous markets in Guatemala.

Once we’ve explored the market and the Santo Tomás church, you will have free time to enjoy lunch. Following this, we will hop on a bus or minibus transporting us to Lake Atitlán, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views featuring the stunning Tolimán, Atitlán, and San Pedro volcanoes.

Our day will conclude as we return to Guatemala City to drop you off at your hotel.

Day 4: Departure from Guatemala City

The final day of your tour will see us taking you to the airport in Guatemala City, ensuring a stress-free transfer for your flight departure.

Requirements for the Tour

To participate in this trip, simply book a flight that arrives in Guatemala City. The tour is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, spanning four days. For instance, if your arrival is on a Tuesday, ensure your next leg is scheduled for the upcoming Friday.

Accommodation During the Tour

This itinerary includes three nights of accommodation, replete with breakfast, at the following hotels:
