Private Historic Shanghai Guided Tour
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, and you'll head to Shanghai’s historic center in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
The first stop of the tour is the Yu Garden (also known as Yuyuan Garden), founded by a civil servant between 1559 and 1577 for his father. Next, visit the market and surrounding streets, known for culturally interesting edifices.
Then, travel to Jade Buddha Temple, built in 1882 to house two sculptures from Burma.
Continue to Tianzifang, an artsy district with boutiques and restaurants. Next, explore the Shanghai French Concession, a European-style neighborhood ideal for lunch or coffee at your leisure.
After lunch, drive to The Bund, featuring Shanghai’s oldest colonial buildings and views of Pudong’s skyscrapers.
At the end of the day, visit the Shanghai Museum, housing sculptures and artifacts made of bronze, jade, and porcelain.
Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or another preferred location at 6 pm.

Changes to the itinerary
Please note that the Shanghai Museum and the Yu Garden are closed to the public on Mondays. Furthermore, the museum is also closed to the public on days when it hosts special exhibitions. In such cases, other places in Shanghai will be visited instead.
