At the predetermined time, a vehicle will gather you from your accommodation and transport you to Ibiraçu. Prepare to encounter the largest Buddha statue in the West!

Upon arriving at your destination, you'll explore the Portal do Buddhista square, home to the area's most well-known landmarks, including the monumental Buddha, the renowned Torii square, and the 15 statues of meditating Buddhas alongside the Grove of Wisdom.

The dimensions of the Giant Buddha Statue are truly astounding. With a height of 38 meters (124.67 feet), it ranks among the largest Buddha statues globally, second only to the one found in Hong Kong, surpassing even the Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro!

As you continue your journey, a leisurely walk will enhance your understanding of the locale. Your next stop will be Torii Square, which was inaugurated in 2004 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Zen Morro da Vargem Monastery. This place serves the community as a meditation area. Additionally, you'll admire the great Torii gate, a symbol of communication between Eastern and Western traditions.

Your visit will culminate with the statue of the 15 meditating Buddhas, embodying the tranquility that one should seek during challenging times.

After spending an hour among the beautiful sights of Ibiraçu, you'll head back to the starting point of the tour. The experience will conclude roughly four hours after it began.
