Ísafjörður Kayak & Westfjords Bike Tour

Join this adventure in Isafjordur, where you'll engage in exhilarating activities such as kayaking and cycling. This excursion promises not just physical challenges, but also breathtaking views of the surrounding nature that will leave you in awe!

Activity Overview

We will convene at Mávagarður at the scheduled time, setting the stage for an exciting kayak excursion in the Isafjordur bay.

Prior to embarking on the kayaking journey, a brief walk will lead us to the shores of Neðstikaupstaður, where a session on kayak handling will take place. Once equipped with the necessary skills, we’ll paddle into the refreshing waters of the Westfjords, spotting various bird species and seals along the way.

After about two hours of kayaking, we'll head back to Mávagarður for an hour of downtime, allowing you to rest and recharge. Following this break, we’ll transition into an exciting bike ride through the rugged landscape of the Westfjords of Iceland.

As we cycle through the picturesque slopes, trails, and valleys, we will encounter some of the remarkable natural sights in the Westfjords, including the enchanting Tungudalur Forest and the majestic Buná River along with its powerful waterfall.

After a fulfilling three-hour cycling expedition, we will conclude our journey, returning to the starting point after a comprehensive 7-hour experience.
