4-Day Safari Overview

Day 1: Departure from Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Our adventure begins with your pickup from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at the scheduled time. Prepare for an experience you'll cherish forever as we explore Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru.

We will traverse the scenic Great Rift Valley, taking in the stunning views along the way. A brief stop will allow you to immerse in the natural beauty of the expansive savanna and capture remarkable photographs.

By midday, we will arrive at our accommodation in Maasai Mara, where you can check in and enjoy a tasty lunch.

At 4 pm, we will set off on a thrilling 3-hour safari in an off-road vehicle within the Maasai Mara National Reserve, a prominent reserve in Africa. This journey will take us across the plains in search of a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, monkeys, cheetahs, lions, and gazelles. Stay alert!

After two hours of discovering the park's natural inhabitants, we will return to our lodging to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Following breakfast, our second safari day begins as we continue to explore the vast Maasai Mara National Reserve. This expansive space is filled with diverse wildlife and captivating landscapes waiting to be explored.

We will be on the lookout for the Big Five and any animals we may have missed during our previous outing. If your visit takes place from July to November, you'll witness the incredible animal migration as hordes of wildebeest and zebras traverse between the Serengeti National Park and Maasai Mara. It's an experience you will not want to miss!

During the afternoon, a picnic lunch will be provided in the heart of the savanna, followed by more exploration of the reserve.

As the sun sets over the plains, we will head back to our accommodation where a warm dinner awaits.

Day 3: From Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

On the morning of the third day, after a hearty breakfast, we depart Maasai Mara for another gem of Kenya, Lake Nakuru. Optionally, we can stop at a Maasai village en route to immerse ourselves in the local culture and traditions.

Before we reach Lake Nakuru, a rest stop will be made at a comfortable accommodation where you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure—whether relaxing by the pool or in your room. Lunch and dinner will also be provided.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

In the early morning, we'll head to the shores of Lake Nakuru after breakfast to witness the enchanting sunrise. Will you be fortunate enough to spot flamingos on the water? We'll certainly give it our best shot! Although this park is somewhat small, it offers excellent opportunities to observe rhinoceros.

After spending approximately 3 to 4 hours on safari at Lake Nakuru, we will make our way back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the journey.

Our 4-day adventure will conclude between 3 pm and 4 pm. Depending on your preference, we can drop you off at your hotel or the airport.

Accommodation During the Tour

This tour includes three nights of lodging on a full board basis at the following establishments:

• Maasai Mara (2 nights): Rhino Tourist Camp, or an equivalent option
• Lake Nakuru (1 night): Lanet MatFarm Resort or a comparable venue
