Tour Overview
Day 1: Monte Cristi - El Morro
Our journey commences at your selected meeting location at the designated time. From there, we will proceed directly to the historic town of Monte Cristi. It is often referred to as the gem of the northwest in the Dominican Republic, and you will soon understand why!
Day 2: Mangroves - Grand Grossier - Isla Cabra
Get ready to immerse yourself in a Caribbean haven! After enjoying a delightful Dominican breakfast, we will embark on a boat ride to the mangroves. Gliding through the lush greenery, we will arrive at a platform at the Caribbean Sea's entrance for a refreshing swim and some sunbathing.
Following this, we will continue our boat journey to discover Grand Grossier. You will be captivated by this stunning beach with pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Within this beautiful beach area, you will find charming wooden stalls and swings inviting you to relax.
Our final destination is Isla Cabra, a sandy cay positioned near El Morro. Here, we will take in views of the imposing cliffs from its almost untouched beaches while we enjoy lunch at Marina del Mar de Monte Cristi. After soaking in the beauty of the surroundings, we will make our return to the starting point.
We will conclude our adventure around 5 pm at the original meeting point in Santiago de los Caballeros or at 7 pm in Santo Domingo.
Accommodation
This package includes one night of lodging with breakfast in a double room at the Marbella Monte Cristi Hotel (3 stars).
Pickup Information
While making your booking, you are welcome to choose from the following pickup options based on your preferred starting location for the tour:
- Tour from Santo Domingo: at 8 am from the parking area of the Botanical Garden
- Tour from Santiago de los Caballeros: at 11 am at the Palacio del Mofongo

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.

We recommend that you travel light and bring a swimming costume, a towel, sunscreen and insect repellent.
