Tour Overview
Our journey commences at the designated meeting point in front of the Novi Sad City Hall, adjacent to the Monument of Svetozar Mileti?. Once assembled, we will embark on a guided exploration of the city’s noteworthy attractions.
To kick off our adventure, we’ll first visit the stunning Church of the Name of Mary, a prime example of Neo-Gothic architecture. This impressive structure, completed in 1892, boasts a height of 236 feet (72 meters).
Next, we will pause at the Serbian National Theatre, the oldest theatrical venue in the nation, which was established in 1861 during the era of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Here, we will delve into the history of its inception.
Continuing our exploration, we will stroll down Zmaj Jovina Street, a vibrant locale filled with cafés, shops, and dining options. This path leads us to Danube Park, known as the green lung of the city, where the picturesque views of the Danube River await.
As we progress through the city, you’ll be awed by the remarkable historic architecture, including the Bishop's Palace and the Museum of Vojvodina, before making our way across the Danube River to visit the magnificent Petrovaradin Fortress.
