Tour Overview

Our journey begins at a specified meeting point, setting off towards the ancient city of Pompeii, which fell victim to the eruption of Vesuvius. Are you ready to discover its rich history?

Upon reaching our destination, we will embark on a comprehensive tour of the archaeological remains of Pompeii. Transporting ourselves back to 79 AD, specifically to August 24, we'll witness the moment when Emperor Titus received the devastating news of Vesuvius' eruption, which impacted Stabiae, Herculaneum, and notably, Pompeii.

As we navigate through the city enshrined in ash and pumice for nearly two millennia, we will uncover details about daily life before the volcano's catastrophic event. Our visit includes stops at the Roman baths, bakeries, the bustling forum, the notable House of the Vetti, and the infamous lupanar, adorned with frescoes depicting erotic imagery.

Additionally, we will observe some of the most intriguing artifacts unearthed from the site, including statues, skeletons, and tools left behind by the residents of Pompeii, who had their lives preserved in time by volcanic ash.

Following a thorough 3-hour guided exploration of Pompeii, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful lunch at a nearby restaurant. Conclusively, we will head back to our starting location at the end of 6 hours of insightful sightseeing.
