Description
On the day of your tour, at the chosen time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Siem Reap and set off towards Tonlé Sap. This lake, a significant part of the Tonlé Sap National Reserve, is the largest in Cambodia and feeds into the Mekong River.
Upon arrival at the Phnom Krom pier, we will embark on a boat ride across Tonlé Sap Lake, where you can appreciate the expansive waters that stretch between 2,500 and 16,000 square kilometers, depending on seasonal changes. During the monsoon, the adjacent forests transform into lush, flooded landscapes!
Our voyage will lead us to Chong Kneas, known for its homes elevated on stilts above the lake. As we glide past these unique structures, you'll gain insight into the daily life of the residents adapted to this exceptional ecosystem.
Following our exploration of the floating village, we will return to Siem Reap.
Group Organisation
For parties of up to 15 individuals, a single guide will accompany the group. If your group consists of 25 to 50 people, you will be accompanied by 2 guides throughout the tour.
