Pudding Creek Express Train
While visiting Fort Bragg, seize the chance to enjoy an entertaining train journey on the Pudding Creek Express. We will convene at the Skunk Train & Rail Bikes station to begin our adventure towards the Pudding Creek estuary. All aboard!
As we travel, covering a distance of 16 kilometers (9.9 miles), we will reveal the stunning vistas of Pudding Creek. Along the way, captivating views of magnificent sequoia trees that encircle Fort Bragg and the Glen Blair Junction will greet us. A brief stop of approximately 30 minutes allows time to disembark and explore the surroundings.
From the comfort of the train, we will continue to appreciate the vast natural scenery of the estuary, which is a sanctuary for numerous bird species, including blue herons, ospreys, and egrets. Furthermore, our route will take us over some of the original train tracks laid by the California Western Railroad in 1885, transporting you back to a different era!
