The journey begins at Ponta do Sinó, an area dedicated to protecting the southern beaches. Here, you’ll find a picturesque lighthouse offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Following this, we will drive past the Morabeza Lobby Bar, notable for being Cape Verde's first resort, established in 1967 by Belgian entrepreneurs. This venue stands as an emblem of the island's welcoming nature.

Next, we will proceed to the renowned Santa Maria pier, where we will pause for 10 minutes to soak in the surroundings and capture some memorable photos. Witness the lively atmosphere filled with fishermen, artists, and musicians—a vibrant expression of cultural life!

Following this, we will visit the Santa Maria Municipal Market, where you can explore the local handicrafts and traditional products. Engage with artisans and experience the delightful rhythm of everyday life on Sal Island. Afterward, we will make a 15-minute stop at the salt mines of Santa Maria, where you will learn about the salt production that played a crucial role in the island's economy during the 19th century.
