At the agreed time, a representative will collect you from your accommodation in Santander to commence your journey to the scenic village of Santoña. A 45-minute drive will lead us to this celebrated fishing community along the Cantabrian coastline.

Upon arrival in Santoña, we will tour an anchovy factory known as Conservas Emilia, where you'll observe the meticulous production process of this specialty delicacy. Insights into the significance of the food preserves sector for the locality and its development through the twentieth century will be shared along the way.

Next, we will move towards the port of Santoña, where you may choose to embark on a boat tour around the bay. This 1 hour and 20 minutes cruise will offer you stunning coastal vistas and a chance to appreciate the Santoña marshes, a protected area teeming with migratory birds, captivating visitors every year.
