Day 1: Arrival in Colima - Journey to Comala

Welcome to Colima! Upon your arrival at the airport or bus station, our team will be ready to escort you to Comala, where you will spend your first night.

Once you check in at the hotel in Comala, you’ll have some free time to unwind and start to explore this charming town at your leisure. Prepare to be captivated by the magical essence of Pueblo Mágico Comala!

Day 2: Exploring Comala

The second day begins with a comprehensive guided tour of Comala, fondly referred to as the "Pueblo Blanco de América." Can you guess why? Join us to find out!

During this guided exploration of the Magic Town, we’ll visit its significant landmarks while uncovering its heritage. Our first stop will be the Museo Universitario Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo, a venue showcasing artworks that have garnered international acclaim. This captivating assembly of Prehispanic art, curated by Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo throughout his life, is a true cultural gem. The architectural design of the museum also offers a stunning contrast to the lush Colima landscape, so don’t forget your camera!

Next, we will continue our journey through the historic heart of Comala, admiring its iconic white-washed homes, main square, and the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. A delightful stop will be made at La Guadalupana bakery, a beloved local establishment where trying its baked goods is a must.

Your day will culminate with a visit to Ponche Don Tavo, where you can savor a traditional artisanal punch that is a cherished local specialty. Following this, you'll have the remainder of the day to enjoy a meal at one of Comala's restaurants and continue your exploration of this picturesque town.

Day 3: Transition to Colima

We depart from Comala to Colima, where a day rich in architectural wonders and historical narratives awaits. Are you ready?

Your day will commence with a tour of the historic center of Colima, where you'll encounter the striking Teatro Hidalgo, a Neogothic architectural masterpiece that has been a stage for countless generations of performers. Following this, we will visit the Palacio de Gobierno, where the fascinating murals will reveal the city’s colorful history.

Continuing on, we'll pass by the Catedral Basílica Menor de Colima and the renowned Quiosco located in Jardín Libertad. Did you know this structure was brought in all the way from Belgium? Within this garden, you can search for the Piedra Lisa and learn about its intriguing legend.

The tour will conclude at Villa de Álvarez, where you will visit its principal square, the Parroquia de San Francisco de Asís, and enjoy a sweet treat at a traditional ice cream shop. Make sure to sample the local artisanal ice cream!

After the tour, we will head to the Cenaduría Julia restaurant for lunch before returning to your hotel in Colima for some well-deserved rest.

Day 4: Farewell to Colima

On your final day, enjoy a morning at leisure to reflect and bid farewell to Colima. At the prearranged time, usually around midday, we will pick you up to transport you to your chosen point of departure, whether that be the airport or bus station. Until next time!

• Colima: Hotel Concierge Plaza or a comparable option
• Comala: Hotel Comalitas or a similarly rated hotel
