Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Colima - Comala

Embark on an adventure through some of the most picturesque towns in Mexico! This 6-day exploration will introduce you to Colima, Comala, and Manzanillo. After arriving in Colima, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation in Comala, where you can settle in and refresh.

Once you’ve gotten comfortable, take the opportunity to unwind and begin discovering Comala at your leisure.

Day 2: Explore Comala

Your second day will kick off with a guided experience in the charming Pueblo Mágico of Comala. Known largely from Juan Rulfo’s renowned novel, Pedro Páramo, this town is brimming with history. Together, we’ll explore the historic center and visit significant sites like the Museo Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo, where a remarkable collection of Pre-Hispanic art awaits.

Stroll along the cobblestone streets, flanked by striking white façade homes, and visit the main plaza featuring the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel.

To truly savor the local culture, we will stop by the famous La Guadalupana bakery and the Ponche Don Tavo shop, offering a taste of delightful regional treats.

Following this culinary journey, enjoy some free time to grab lunch and further explore this magical town. By around 4 PM, we’ll regroup to return to Colima for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Discover Colima

Today, immerse yourself in an extensive tour of Colima, a city rich in history and tradition, boasting stunning architecture.

Your guided visit will showcase prime attractions such as the Teatro Hidalgo and the Palacio de Gobierno, adorned with impressive murals that are true town treasures. Continuing our walk, we’ll arrive at the Andador Constitución, a vibrant area where local artisans showcase their musical talents and craftsmanship.

Next, we’ll wander through the Jardín Libertad, seeking out the Piedra Lisa, the Quisco, the Monument to Rey Colimán, and the Glorieta Griselda Álvarez. Be sure to capture some memorable photos!

Our tour will also take us to Villa de Álvarez, where you’ll have the chance to visit a traditional bakery famous for its diverse treats. If you wish, you may also indulge in a tasty lunch at the Cenaduría Julia restaurant.

We will conclude the day back at the hotel in Colima, allowing you to rest for the evening.

Day 4: Journey from Colima to Manzanillo

Prepare to depart from the inland regions as we make our way to the stunning Mexican Pacific. Our destination is Manzanillo, a coastal city perfect for relaxation. Once we check into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day soaking up the sun and splendor of the beaches. The tropical ambiance of the Pacific will surely enchant you!

Day 5: Leisure in Manzanillo

Your fifth day is completely at your disposal, allowing you to explore the beautiful beaches of Manzanillo and partake in various activities available in this vibrant location. We recommend considering a Manzanillo tour, experiencing the local cuisine on a tropical fruit journey, or taking a day trip to the El Salto Waterfall for some tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.

Day 6: Departure from Manzanillo to Colima

As your adventure draws to a close, enjoy one last morning dip in Manzanillo’s warm waters. Following this final moment of relaxation, we’ll travel back to Colima to transfer you to the airport, bus station, or your specified location in Colima.

Essential Information

After completing your booking, we will reach out to you to finalize the pickup time in Colima. Generally, this will occur at the Colima International Airport or the Central Bus Station.

On your final day, we will ensure your transport to the airport or bus station at the requested time.
