Description
Discover the charm of wooden houses and picturesque gardens that reflect a European influence as you explore the German heritage on Lake Llanquihue during this tour of Frutillar departing from Puerto Varas.
Frutillar Tour
Your adventure begins at approximately 8:30 am when we depart from your hotel towards Frutillar, a quaint town located by the shores of Lake Llanquihue.
Upon arrival, we’ll stroll through the tranquil streets of Frutillar, soaking in the serene atmosphere enriched by flower-filled gardens that adorn the area. A highlight of our visit will be the Colonial German Museum (closed on Mondays), where you can learn about the stories of German immigrants who settled around Lake Llanquihue in the late 1800s.
Our exploration of this "Teutonic village" will culminate at the lakeshore, where we will take in stunning views of the Osorno Volcano from the renowned Frutillar pier, as well as admire the architecture of the Teatro del Lago theatre.
Following our discovery of Frutillar, we will return to Puerto Varas, with an expected drop-off at your hotel around 1 pm.
