Our adventure commences as we make our way to the Santo Ángel neighborhood in Old Havana, where you will witness the remarkable resilience of the Cuban people!
As we navigate the winding streets, our first stop will be at the private market of Havana. Here, you will gain insight into how the national currency has reshaped the food market's economic landscape. Have you ever pondered the profound impact the Cuban Revolution has had on society today?
Next, we'll visit the national market and a quaint rationed products store, exploring a commercial area that is entirely state-subsidized.
Having addressed your curiosities, we will proceed to an iconic local pharmacy as we delve into the reasons behind the existence of a black market and its workings. We'll also discuss how Cubans acquire their necessities using various currencies.
After 2.5 hours filled with discovery, we will conclude our tour at the Plaza de Armas and bid farewell.
