Tubing Adventure in the Güape River Canyon

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Villavicencio and set off towards the municipality of La Uribe using an all-terrain vehicle.

After approximately 5 hours of travel, we will reach our destination, where you will be provided with helmets and tubing vests. Once properly equipped, we will prepare the floats and make our way to the launch site located in El Limón. Here, our instructor will give you a briefing on essential safety guidelines to ensure a fun and secure adventure.

Following this orientation, we will commence our tubing journey down the Güape River canyon. This thrilling experience spans 5 to 6 hours, during which we will glide along the river on floats, navigating through various stretches of white water.

As part of this excursion, we will also explore the captivating cave of the guacharos. Named after the birds that inhabit the area, the cave ushers in the sound of their wings, breaking the serene silence that envelops the underground chambers.

The tubing adventure concludes in the La Resevera area, where we’ll savor a tasty picnic featuring an array of local specialties. Once we have recharged our energy, we will embark on our 5-hour return trip, culminating at your hotel in Villavicencio, completing a total journey of about 16 hours.
