Details of the Kayak Adventure

We'll commence our adventure by picking you up at the agreed time from your hotel in Doha, port, or airport. The journey to the Al Thakira Reserve will take approximately 1 hour, setting the stage for an unforgettable kayaking experience among the mangroves.

Upon arrival at this serene location, a brief introduction to the local flora and fauna will be provided. Important paddling instructions will also be shared, along with essential safety guidelines to ensure a smooth journey through the mangrove ecosystem. Get ready to begin!

We will board our kayaks for a 4-hour exploration of Al Thakira, gliding through the mangrove canals while keeping an eye out for herons, flamingos, and various other bird species that inhabit this unique area. Throughout the tour, we will make several stops to capture photographs and appreciate the peacefulness of the landscape.

About halfway through, a 30-minute break at a small island within the mangroves will provide you an opportunity to relax, drink some water, and enjoy a light snack. Remember to pack something to munch on!

After this respite, we will resume our kayaking adventure, continuing to traverse the canals and taking advantage of the last moments to observe the local wildlife in a stunning environment.

Upon returning to shore, we will return the kayaks before journeying back to Doha, concluding our 6-hour experience with friendly farewells.
